Coaching defined

ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.

We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfillment...

The Coach’s Role

The coach is a guide and master of the process. We listen carefully for important avenues of exploration and then we present them back to the client in the form of framing and inquiring. Simply put, what we are doing is discovering, clarifying and aligning with what you as the client want to achieve. Then we encourage you as the client to reflect on your self-discovery.

Once we have created enough thinking space and seen the whole picture, we elicit a client-generated path forward with clear, well understood changes that you plan to make after the session. Together we design an approach for you as the client to hold yourself responsible and accountable to maximize the chances of your new direction bearing fruit.
